Captain Leonardo Bovi has been traveling the ocean for over 20 years. His love for the ocean was born as a young boy windsurfing in his home island of Ischia, Italy. Leonardo also has received experience from shipyards, working as a private captain and sailed to the United States from Italy in a 1975 Sparkman's and Stephens sailboat, “Nicolandra”.

Captain Leonardo arrived in Miami, Florida in 2016 and in 2018 married and made his sailboat “Nicolandra" home for him and his wife. That same year he and his wife whom also has a passion for the ocean developed Yachts Care, LLC with the yearning in helping others take care of their boat needs like they were there own.

Captain Leonardo has experience of over 100,000+ of nautical miles. He started his nautical career as a Captain assistant to nautical engineer and now an international Licensed Captain. He is a USCG licensed captain for power and sailboat.
